Inspired by Kate and Nigel – you know who you are.
With ‘Nag Dad’ I’m trying to make the marks the cartoon needs, but no more. It will evolve.
Of course, the cartoons don’t exist in isolation. Humour is a two-way process, so be aware of the assumptions you make ~
“I love nagging …”.
Who’s doing the nagging? Does dad nag? Does daughter?
“I call him …” “They call me …” “She calls me …”
Perhaps ‘Nag Dad’ is the name he goes under, but who gave it to him? With or without a smile, wry or otherwise?
“I aim to …”
Perhaps it’s an aspiration. Daughter aims to nag dad, or dad aims to nag daughter.
